What happened with my Reiki specialist will make you laugh!
I had an opportunity to have a special treatment with a Reiki professional a few months ago! You see, I have advanced Arthritis in both knees and was told to put my name on the wait list to have knee replacement surgery.
I refused to have someone do this invasive knee replacement surgery because I have witnessed the results with many of my friends who have had this procedure done. Forever after they will never kneel again!
This is not the way I want to live….feeling handicapped the rest of my life.
So, when I heard about Reiki, I decided to give it a try.
I kind of knew what would happen during my visit, but was not totally sure. When my husband inquired of me as to what exactly was this treatment going to be before we arrived at my appointment, the best way I could explain it to him was that it was a type of massage.
Once we arrived at the appointment, my husband came in with me. He was invited in and sat on the couch watching me have my Reiki treatment. It must have been a good one, because he soon fell fast asleep on the couch.
After my treatment we got back into our car and were driving away. Suddenly he said “That was the strangest kind of massage I have ever seen!”
Bahahahahaha!
Obviously he had also been a recipient from the energy in the room at the time, because he fell fast asleep and I was able to also have the “hands on” in a manner of speaking.
Since my own experience, I have discovered that Reiki can also help animals and developmentally handicapped children. I am moved by the stories I have heard from Diane Matthews with the results of her work.
The treatment I had released the pain in my knees for weeks afterward.
I believe that having a Reiki treatment is something I can highly recommend for pets, children and the whole family.
